Booking Conditions
• Whilst we will make every effort to provide you with the accommodation described overleaf, DABS must reserve the right to amend, vary or cancel any booking.
• Prices may be subject to change without notice.
• Bookings will not be confirmed until a 50% deposit plus booking fee is received. Bookings not confirmed with 7 days may be cancelled and rebooked by DABS.
• Most properties have a 2 night minimum on weekends. Long weekends and public holidays often require longer stays.
• Standard check-in time is 3pm on day of arrival and check-out is 12 noon unless otherwise advised by DABS.
• DABS is not responsible if the chosen accommodation does not ‘meet’ the expected style of accommodation required.
• If a credit card number is given DABS will automatically debit any amounts outstanding or any extra charges for cleaning, extra packages, more guests staying, extra bedrooms being used or damage fees.
• It is the guests responsibility to read all terms and conditions of their booking.
• DABS will not be held responsible for failure of utilities and essential services such as electricity and water should it cease to function. However should it be made known to DABS, every attempt will be made by DABS to contact the appropriate authorities to report such incidences.
• At Time of booking guests are requested to specify the number of guests and bedrooms to be used. If extra guests or bedrooms are used DABS reserves the right to apply additional charges.
• Guests staying in Pet friendly accommodation will be charged an additional $50 if pets are found to have been on furniture or bedding at time of departure. Any damage caused by pets will be charged to guests.


Cancellation Policy
• DABS reserves the right to cancel a booking at any stage.
• Strict policies apply -
• Cancellations notified more than 30 days prior to arrival will incur an administration charge of 15% of total tariff
• Cancellations notified 30 days or less prior to arrival will forfeit the full deposit or 50% of the total tariff.
• Refunds are not possible on ancillary bookings cancelled or varied 7 days or less prior to the date of the service. (e.g. hampers, massages, spas, restaurants)
• Travel Insurance is strongly recommended, in particular for both medical and cancellation coverage
• Packages booked, eg: massages, restaurants, spas, flowers, hampers etc must be paid in full at time of booking and will not be refunded if cancelled or varied 7 days or less prior to the date of service.


Responsibilities
• While our company takes great care in representing properties registered with our service as accurately as possible, because of the variation in business arrangements with individual properties, we cannot accept liability for any act, neglect or fault on the part of the property owner or for loss, damage, expense, accident or inconvenience whether to property or person as a consequence of services provided by property owners or operators.
• Guests are reminded that they are responsible for the security of their belongings.
• Please ensure your accommodation premises is secure when not occupied.
• Guests will be held responsible for breakages, damages and losses incurred during their stay
• For your own protection and safety when using wood fires please exercise special care and ensure that they are left in a safe condition when unattended or when leaving premises.
• Upon vacating make sure all heating, electric blankets, appliances, burners and lights turned OFF and doors and windows secured.
• Guests staying in Pet Friendly accommodation are required to clean up gardens, paths etc after pet indiscretions.
